One thing that is crucial for us here at L.I.F.E is for people to know why we do what we do. We believe and agree with the old saints of the Christian faith that, "The chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever."
We believe that this can only be accomplished by saving faith in and through Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. We believe that Jesus Christ meant what He said when he said, "I have come to give life, and give it abundantly (John 10:10). We believe that life is best lived when it is lived for God. We also believe that a person's decision to follow God or not has eternal blessing or consequences (John 3:16-21). We believe that by following Christ, a man or woman will have a more fulfilling, fruitful, and faithful life than anything the world could offer. We believe that Christ continuously pursues men, and men fundamentally reject Him with their lives, actions, thoughts, and words. We believe that God's great love and mercy for humanity can overcome man's sin and lead them into eternal life. We believe that man's biggest dilemma and problem comes down to one word: sin. We believe that God presented Christ as the sacrifice for our sin and has reconciled humanity back to Himself through faith in Jesus Christ. In short, we believe that Christ died for sinners, and through his sacrifice and death, He grants man forgiveness for their sin and gives them new life; in turn, man becomes a new being, now enabled, through the Holy Spirit to live for God and bring Him Glory. (1 Corinthians 15:3; 2 Corinthians 5:17-21).
In Christianity, we have a word called "Doctrine," which is a systematic approach to understanding our faith through God's word. Below we have included bible passages that help us think through the reality of L.I.F.E. We believe life is best lived through the only lens that matters: God's. We pray that these verses help you understand life from God's perspective while giving you a new outlook on life. The passages are in no particular order, and it is an exhaustive list of passages that have come over the years of my study on this topic of life.
